bodo, kakršne bi radi,
malo dobri, malo slabi,
kot je pri ljudeh v navadi.

to salute the naughty children.

i uvijek čine što nije pravo.
Hej tikve brze, prefrigane, gole
neka sreća vas posvuda prati
dobre svi vole i bez da ih mole
nestašnima malo se dobrote vrati.
Bukači, razbijači
u tjeranju skaču, vrište,
kada ih ipak žalost tlači
suze ih kao i nas tište.
Kada ih jednom pamet sretne
biti će, tko god ih kudi,
pomalo dobri, pomalo slabi
kako su već to navikli ljudi.
