Nekoč imel je fant ime,
kot je navada pri ljudeh.
Imel je kuštrave lase
in svetle iskrice v očeh.
Potem čarovnica Usoda
ga je zmamila v čarni ris.
In stopil je čez prag zakona.
Zato prišel je v časopis.
Njegovo ime so zamolčali,
saj bil še otrok je kuštrolas.
Na sliki pa so namazali
mu črno pego čez obraz.
Ne dajte, da bo fant zgubljen
sam zase in za vse ljudi,
čeprav je zdaj samo N.N.
in črna pega čez oči.
Blindfold over the Eyes
Once a boy had a name,
like all humans do.
He was a messy-haired boy
and he had a tiny spark in his eyes.
Then the witch called Fate,
lured him with her charms.
And he broke the law.
That’s why he made it to the newspapers…
His name was kept silent…
He was just a curly boy.
And over his photo they drew
a black spot across his face.
Do not let this boy be lost…
For himself and for everyone.
From now onwards he will remain just N.N.
With a Blindfold over his Eyes…
N.N. i crna pruga na očima.
Nekoć je dečko imao ime
kako je navika među ljudima.
Imao je kuštrave kose
i sitne iskre u očima.
Zatim ga čarobnica Sudbina
namami u začaran krug.
I prestupi on prag zakona.
Zato dospije na stranice novina.
Njegovo ime su prešutjeli,
bio je samo kuštrav dječak.
No na slici bjehu mu dodali
crnu prugu na lice.
Ne dajte da bude izgubljen dečko
pred sobom i pred drugim ljudima
iako je sada samo N.N.
I crna pruga na očima.
Sada je samo N.N.
I crna pruga na očima.
